The St. Louis Project for Haiti

The Haitian earthquake tuesday impacted my life personally, but that doesn't mean others are unaffected by the images of the people in need. There are several ways to help and the St. Louis Project for Haiti is coming together to raise money in hopes to send doctors, medicine, and food to the Haitians in need. The money we raise will further support the Haitian relief organizations that we feel will benefit the people in need. Those being, Crudem, Medicine and Food for Kids, and Doctors Without Borders.

The St. Louis Project for Haiti was started by members of my family and is joined by people here in the St. Louis community. To anyone who is confused about where to donate or concerned about the reputation of the organizations to donate to, the St. Louis Project for Haiti is an organization you can trust and be assured that your money will be put towards the relief effort.

For the next three months we are going to do all we can to fundraise, as we hope to reach a goal of $60,000.

To all of those in and out of town and would like to send any and anything to help you are welcome to send checks payable to The St. Louis Project for Haiti at:
P.O. Box 170094
St. Louis, MO 63117

But if you are in the St. Louis area and want to be apart of the aide there are several events that you can attend.

Friday Jan 22 9am-12:30pm
Gramma Phone
4243 Manchester
$10 at the door
Combien pour Haiti (Together for Haiti) is a benefit concert by Mario Pascale and friends where all proceeds are going towards the Crudem organization.

2009 zazzle recipe binder contest

I designed the binder above and entered it into a recipe binder design contest. There is some tough competition because a lot of the binders entered look really good, but nevertheless I am excited to see the outcome. Even if I don't win the grand prize making it into third place honorable mention among ten others would be well worth it. The binder is also for sale on my website if any of you are interested. Wish me luck!

New Holiday Items

The first wave of holiday items are here!

Thanksgiving and Christmas are around the corner and everyone is
trying to get a jump start on holiday shopping of every kind.

Ambrosia Rae Designs has just put up a preliminary set of seasonal items to get the ball rolling.

Uniquely designed Christmas cards are now available and customizable. Buy in bulk and save this holiday.

New to Ambrosia Rae Designs are a selection of ties inspired by the colors of the season. Ties are a great gift and accessory to any male wardrobe and can be even more festive in matching seasonal colors.

Fall is also a favorite season for a lot of people. The leaves change
colors, the weather gets cold, and hot chocolate and candy canes run rampant. Feeling festive doesn't always have to mean dressing up in jack-o-lanterns, turkeys, and trees. Sometimes a sip of hot chocolate in a beautifully decorated mug is all you need.

But whatever your fancy stop by and take a look, there are still a lot more variations on these holiday designs. Shirts, watches, jewelry, ornaments, and handbags and more can all be found here and here

Featured Item of the Week: Handbag Hangers

It is finally October and cold season is here. It is the season for sickness and germs, not to mention the fact that everyone has already been on the look out for signs of swine flu for
months. Basically, it's time to be prepared for the worst, if you haven't already.

Dr. Oz mentioned on his how debut that a woman's purse wasn't necessarily the cleanest, and I'm not just talking a junk-fest. We all know that women tend to cram a little more in their purses than necessary, but who hasn't. My point isn't the mess inside of it, but more the mess that's on it.

A purse has seen many places, restaurants, hotels, houses, cars, and bathrooms. And even though it's carefully placed on a hook or the back of a chair, there isn't a purse who hasn't probably been set on the floor once or twice. On purpose or by accident that's never the best place for a purse especially when keeping clean and germ free is an issue.

Handbag hangers are the perfect and most convenient way to keep your purse off the ground when a hook can't be found. Simple and compact it folds up to fit neatly inside your purse until it's ready to be used. This handy dandy little item plus a personal size carton of hand wipes and you'll be good to go this cold and flu season.

These unique designs can be found here and there will be more coming soon.

The holidays

Everyone knows that the holidays are right around the corner. After halloween comes Thanksgiving and Christmas just before slamming into the new year. And with that comes the rush for gifts and cards and gestures from the heart.

Ambrosia Rae Design's currently has lots to chose from in the way of gifts, but the seasonal cards are yet to come. I just wanted to let everyone know that Thanksgiving and Christmas greeting cards will be up in a few short weeks as well as more variants in gift.

Please feel free to stop by now and browse our selections but don't forget to come back soon and check on the seasonal updates! :D
